Step-by-Step Guide: How to Book Your Taxi in Madrid at a Fixed Price (€33 to the Airport)
Getting around a city as lively as Madrid doesn't have to mean stress or last-minute surprises on the bill. Whether you need to make a flight at T4 on time or you're heading home after a long day, the key is planning ahead.
At TaxMad, we have simplified the process so you can secure your ride in under 2 minutes. Below we explain how our booking system works and why a fixed price is your best friend.
Why Choose a Fixed-Price Taxi in Madrid?
Every traveller's biggest worry is the taxímetro (meter). Traffic on the M-30 or in the city centre can be unpredictable. When you choose the Fixed Price option, the cost of your trip is locked in from the moment you book. Traffic jams or detours don't matter: what you see is what you pay.
Our Star Fare: Barajas Airport for €33
If your pick-up point or destination is inside the M-30 ring road and you are going to Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport (T1, T2, T3 or T4), the fare is official and fixed: €33. No hidden luggage supplements.
Our platform is designed to be intuitive and fast. Follow these steps to guarantee your taxi:
-
Choose your fare: Select "Fixed Price" for complete peace of mind, or "Meter" if you prefer the traditional method.
-
Enter your route: Type in your pick-up point (you can use your phone's GPS) and your destination in Madrid or the surrounding area.
-
Customise your extras: Travelling with a baby or your pet? You can request a baby seat or let us know you are bringing a pet carrier. You can also say if you need a wheelchair-accessible vehicle (PMR).
-
Calculate the price: Tap "See Price" and the system will show you the exact breakdown based on the official 2026 fares.
-
Contact details: We only need your name, phone number and email to send you the confirmation code.
-
Done!: You will instantly receive an email with all the details of your trip.
Important note: For online bookings, we recommend booking at least 30 minutes in advance. If you need a taxi urgently, you can call us directly on 614 975 663.
